A friendly biography of noted collector Oldroyd, with brief entries on particularly interesting items in his Lincoln collection. Oldroyd was a veteran of the 20th Ohio and one of the more prominent early collectors of Lincolniana. While much of his collection was eventually bought by the government in 1926 and are at Ford's Theater, some parts were also bought by the famed collector William Barton and are now at the University of Chicago. Uncommon.
