The slip case has wear and rubbing along the edges, mainly on the corners with places where the cardboard beneath is exposed. Some scuffing also to the slipcase. Crack on upper corner of the slipcase. Volume one has 549 pages with footnotes, illustrations, maps, and 10 appendices. Volume two has 464 pages with illustrations, maps, footnotes, 3 appendices, general bibliographic notes, short title index, and index.
