The b ooks does have an small unusual flaw: On the copyright page, blue tape had been used to tape over the copyright date and the translation notification, also darkening the reverse on the title page. The tape is long since gone, leaving much of its blue coloration, and a worn spot where its removal must have taken off a small bit of paper. Otherwise internatl as very good. Endpapers have genealogical line of the Sanson family. 205 p. w/bibliography. No index, unfortunately. An interesting history of this family, whose success and decline followed the relative harshness of the penal codes of France.
