Creasing on the upper corner of the first few pages with slight tear to the front fly-page. Crack in the binding where webbing is just visible between the rear endpapers. Also crack between pages 160-161. Foxing to page edges and page are a bit stiff. Most of the pages have not been cut along their upper edges. 624 pages with foldout maps, notes, and index. A classic work on the life and times of the Prophet Mohammed and the founding of Islam.
