Only slightly ex-library with a library Civil War collection bookplate on front pastedown endpaper and red stamp with similar information on title page of pamphlet. No other library marks. Slight wear to edges and corners of boards. Slight soling to covers. 31 p. w/illustrations. Designed, printed and bound by The Stone Printing and Manufacturing Company, Roanoke Virginia under the personal direction of Edward L. Stone. Stone was a major collector of books who had perhaps the best private library in Virginia in the 1930s. After Stone's death the collection was acquired by the University of Virginia. The lovely design and construction of this work shows his attention to quality.
