Un curioso accidente, 1760), fitted for performance by classes at the University of Michigan, based on the 1892 English edition by Zimmern. Goldoni was an 18th c. Italian playwright who created some of Italy's most-recognized and enjoyed plays. The play is the story of a poor French lieutenant, a Dutch merchant's daughter, mistaken identity, and elopement.
