The uncommon memoir of one of the Four Horsemen from Notre Dame college football under legendary coach Knute Rockne in from 1922 - 1924, losing only 2 games. Layden went on to coach football at his alma mater and then became Athletic director there. In 1941 he became the Commissioner of of the National Football League until 1946. Very good / good.
