Formed from the 16th Infantry Division in 1940, the division fought at Kiev, 2nd Kharkhov, and largely destroyed at Stalingrad. Reconstituted, it fought most of 1943 in Italy, notably at Salerno, Back in Russia, it fought with Army Group Center in Poland, Silesia, and finally Czechoslovakia. Good / good. Item #18465
