After the campaigns in Poland and France, the unit spent the rest of its time in the East, fighting near Leningrad and Moscow. After refitting and garrison duties in Greece, it used as an emergency force at Kiev, Zhitomir and Cherkassy. It conducted a fighting retreat into eastern Poland and Hungary, and participated in the attempted relief of Budapest. It ended the war in US hands. Good / good. Item #18466
