A history of this division by its first commander. Created in 1940 from he 19th Infantry division, the 19 PZD fought in Barbarossa, Moscow, Kursk, and in various defensive actions, Refitted in the Netherlands, the division fought in the Polish Warsaw Uprising and in the defense of the city. It was eventually pushed southwest and surrendered west of Prague at the end of the war. Very good / very good. Item #18467
