Bumping to the corners of the panels with heavy bump to the lower corner of the front panel. Scuffing and some staining to the covers. Bookplate on the front pastedown endpaper. Name of the previous owner on the front free endpaper in ink and a little bit of writing on the rear free endpaper. Page edges are a little browned and slightly foxed. Stainmarks on the fore-edges of the pages. Some light underlining and notes in pencil (red and blue). 648 pages with illustrations, maps, footnotes, 3 appendices (1. probable causes of glaciation, 2.
