Wear and rubbing along edges of boards with bumping to head and heel of spine and corners of panels. Covers are heavily scuffed with some black smudges and have some scratches. Page edges are browned and have some foxing. Name of previous owner and address written in pencil on front pastedown endpaper. Crack along rear hinge between the endpapers. Pages are foxed and a little stiff but not brittle. Also cracking between pages 176-177. 318 pages with footnotes and few illustrations. Volume I only. (Item ID: 16392)
