Dj has wear and rubbing along edges with some small tears on head and heel of spine and some scuffing to covers. Edges of dj have been taped over by previous owner. Name of previous owner written on front free endpaper. Page edges are lightly browned and have minor foxing. 131 pages with notes, appendix, and index. A study of this 17th and 18th century company in Great Britain, which began and eneded as a waterworks company, but in its prime was a leading buyer of estates.
