Overall not a great choice of covering materials for the boards, but binding is still tight. Commercial bookplate of a former owner on the pastdown, and his address and date in ink on flyleaf. xvii (1), 366 p. w/ footnotes, endnotes, index. The definiive text, albeit entirely in the German translation, of this work of the 13th century Persian historian, covering the Seljuq empire from 1192-1280.
