Pages browned as usual, but with very few small tears at edges and no major flaking. Includes the "Young Explorers", 253 p. w/list of the Men under Fannin at Goliad at end. A memoir of sort, detailing the Fanin expedition, the Battle of Coleto, the surrender and massacre of Fannin's command, and the author's escape. The author then details his memoir, in a partly fictionalized way, of his return to Kentucky, then return to Texas, visit to the Alamo, and his adventures involving the wilderness and Native Americans.
